5 1763 FEBUARY 23- REVOLT TOOK PLACE ON PLANTATION MAGDALENBURG ON CONJE RIVER. MARCH- THE REVOLT WENT AS FAR AS ACROSS THE BERBICE RIVER. o MARCH 3- PEERBOOM WAS ATTACKED BY 600 BLACKS UNDER CASALA. o MARCH 8- FORT NASSAU, ABONDONED BY VAN HOOGENHEIM WHO WITH SOLDIERS TRAVELED TO BERBICE RIVER TO DAGERAAD.

6  APRIL- ARGUMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DIVISION OF BERBICE WAS ARGUED BETWEEN COFFY AND VAN HOOGENHEIM.  MAY 13- DAGERAAD WAS UNSUCCESSFULLY ATTACKED BY COFFY.  DECEMBER- BLACKS FROM DEMERARA ATTACKED BERBICE.

7 DATE PARTYRESULT 1764 BLACKS 40 HANGED 24 BROKEN 24 BURNED 1763 COFFY AKARA DESERTED COFFY AND COFFY COMMITTED SUICIDE. THE REVOLT WAS A FAILURE. 1764 ATTA AND ACCABRE CAPTURED BY TRAITOR AKARA. 1764 BLACKS THEY CONTROLLED BERBICE FOR TEN MONTHS 1764 BLACKS STRUGGLE FOR INDEPENDENCE 1764 BLACKS GAINED INDEPENDENCE.
