2. Question Q: Are the test results similar to the test results that we took in the past two years?

4. Background Info I got my background information out of the SITE book. This site is basically about the information that you need to know about DO. Some information that we found was that the amount of oxygen in any water system is very critical. The amount of oxygen in anything that has water basically determines what organisms can live in that water. If there is no oxygen than nothing can live in that water. The more oxygen level the water has the more healthier that lake, stream, or river will be.

5. Background Information on DO The amount of oxygen in any aquatic environment is one of the critical element that determines what and how many organisms can live there.

6. Background Information on BOD A way to determine the demand for oxygen of the microorganisms living in an aquatic ecosystem. So if there is a lot of aerobic organisms in the water they will consume a lot of the oxygen in the water.

7. Data Analysis A: Here are the results that I have found. On October 18,1999 the raw DO amount was 0 and the amount of BOD was 3. On October 16,2000 the amount of raw DO was 10.25 and the amount of BOD was 0. On October 16,2000 the amount of raw DO was 10.25 and the amount of BOD was 13. On October 16,2000 the amount of amount of raw DO was 8.6 and the amount of BOD was 13. On October 18,2000 the amount of raw DO was 7.3 and the amount of BOD was 13.

8. Cont. Data Analysis On October 19,2000 the amount of raw DO was 10.8 and the amount of BOD was 13. On October 17,2000 the amount of raw DO was 11.4 and the amount of BOD was 13. On October 17, 2000 the amount of DO was 13.5 and the amount of BOD was 11. The results that we got this year were similar to the test results that we received this year at Rock Creek. Our DO was 10.9 and our BOD was 1.1. That was for the 6 th period science class.

10. Conclusion We are going to conclude our data by saying that this year the data that we collected is better than the data that we collected in the years before.
