Happy “Yay! I can’t wait to ride the swing!” she exclaimed. Her face lit up as she saw her mom walking in the room with the doll she had been wishing for. She skipped through the hallway singing. Sounds like…
Sad Looks like…
Sad Sounds like… I couldn’t believe they forgot my birthday. She hung her head as she heard the words, “You can’t go over your friend’s house today.” I thought my heart would break when I found out my dog was missing.
Angry Looks like…
Angry Sounds like… You march into your room and you pick up those toys! She stood red-faced and fists clenched and I knew she soon would hit the roof. She stomped her feet and slammed the door. BAM!
Shocked Looks like…
Shocked Sounds like… “Get outta here,” he said surprised to hear the news. She stood mouth opened and eyes wide, trying to understand what had just happened. He jumped when he heard the crowd yell, “Surprise!”
Confused Looks like…
Confused Sounds like… “What’s going on here?” she asked. He sat staring at his math homework, wondering what the next step was. The boy turned his head from left to right and had no idea how he would get home.

Scared Sounds like… She stood, trembling in the corner, hoping everything would be okay. She jumped up and hollered. “Monsters aren’t real! Monsters aren’t real!” he said to himself.

Excited Sounds like… “Awesome! I can’t believe I am going to the Justin Bieber concert.” Jenny jumped up and down. She was finally going to the slumber party she had been looking forward to all week. A weekend at the beach is exactly what I need!”, she said smiling from ear to ear.
