2Grade D –Must work harderAs a young child, Hitler was quite a normal boy. He went to a Church school and even sang in the choir.He was not very academic and preferred subjects like art and PE.

He makes sure that he is safely in control.During a year in prison he writes Mein Kampf. This lays out all Hitler’s ideas, including Lebensraum (living space for Germans), Grossdeutschland (Greater Germany) and blaming Jews for German suffering.He attempts the Munich Putsch in 1923, which fails.
