2 Our Role To build and manage effective relationships between The jobcentre;(training) Providers; and(local) Employers (our national partnerships team engages with national employers; then such agreements are filtered to local areas for our own engagement).We work closely withSkills brokers/training providers (private companies as well as local colleges) to ensure that local provision meets the needs of all customers;Employers to ensure that we source provision that meets their recruitment needs; also in liaison withPartners/forums such asLocal Authorities;Local Drug/Alcohol;Mental Health; andCarers;To address worklesness in local areas (in essence – addressing skills gaps by matching employer requirements with claimant needs, in partnership with local (training) providers.
