NAVSEA 04RM is the Calibration Technical Authority for Installed Instrumentation SISCAL Engineering Agent: NSWCCD-SSES 953 Responsibilities –NAVSEA 04, SISCAL EA, PEOs, FFC CRL is the AuthoratativeTechnical Document for installed instruments –JFMM Vol VI, Chapter 9 Responsibilities –TYCOM, refers to QAL-15 (AIMD) –NAVAIR 17-35QAL-15 Chapter 4 Responsibilities –CO, EO, RO and AIMD

For Installed Instrumentation, a means to determine: –who should calibrate (maintenance level), –what should be used to calibrate (Cal Standards/equipment), –how often calibration should be accomplished (interval), –where it should be calibrated (on site), –why it should be calibrated (criticality analysis) –how it should be calibrated (procedure) Issue Calibration Requirements Lists (CRLs) for Every Hull –Documents Technical Requirements for all installed NAVSEA COG instruments. Excluded are those instruments covered by Reactor plant Manual or SSP instructions.
