It can be operated with all four crew members or Just the TC and Gunner. Trains Tank crews using the USAARMC Advanced Matrix Instructional Subsystem and also trains crews in Urban Operations. Will train vehicle combat crews using a Advanced Matrix Instructional Subsystem and also trains crews in Urban Operations and tactical maneuver. It is used to simulate weapons training events which lead to live-fire individual/crew weapons qualification and training events. It simulates squad collective gunnery and tactical tasks for defense and ambush mission. Supports 11 small arms weapons models. Camp Ripley has FATS IV ILO EST 2000 System. GUARDFIST; The Guard Unit Armory Device Full-Crew Interactive Simulation Trainer) is a transportable training system that will provide simulated battlefield scenarios for the training of Field Artillery Forward Observers (FOs) task The Instructor Stations will generate, monitor, and control training scenarios, record Forward Observer performance and maintain a library of training exercises. The Forward Observer Stations will provide or simulate the physical tools required by a Forward Observer to accomplish sustainment training. Camp Ripley has one GUARDFIST system. Effective training device that replicates the firing of the soldiers individual weapon without live ammunition utilizing a laser beam, the target senses the shot location. System may used indoors or outdoors. System supports M9,M4,M16,M24,M249,M240B,M60 and M2 with all courses of fire. MN Organizational Level. VBS1 : Virtual Battlefield System offers realistic tactical simulations and the ability to operate a myriad of land, sea, and air vehicles across vast outdoor terrains. System includes the realistic simulation of friendly forces, opposing forces, and non-combatants. Allows free play within scenario-based training missions. It also incorporates real-time simulation of wind, rain, fog, clouds, time-of-day, sunrise and sunset, and tides. Multiple terrain databases and predefined scenarios are available for the instructor to select. The After Action Review module assists the training facilitator in assessing the team’s performance and in promoting continuous process improvement. MN NONE. ARNG FUNDED TADSS Bushmate is a training device that allows users of the Boeing 25mm chain gun (Bushmaster) to use sub-caliber weapons to train gunnery skills. It consists of a weapons mount that replaces the 25mm Bushmaster barrel, a wiring harness and currently two firing solenoids. One solenoid is used for the M2HB.50 cal Browning machine gun, the other fires the M mm machine gun. This allows the crew to train at combat ranges, at full, or half scale targets at a fraction of the cost of 25mm ammunition. This allows the crew to use their vehicle and full-up fire control, a primary consideration in realistic combat training. MN NONE. CCTT Close Combat Tactical Trainer supports training of armor, mechanized infantry, and cavalry units from platoon through Battalion/Squadron size including staff. All battlefield operating systems are represented to include opposing forces. Unit maneuver is the primary function of the trainer. Encompasses daylight, night, and fog conditions and has the following date-bases NTC, Germany, Ft Hood, and Kosovo. Mobile versions are used to train the ARNG. Mobile Systems Available by Request SIMNET systems allow Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT) interoperability and other key features. The SIMNET Upgrades Program will upgrade legacy SIMNET M1A1 and M2A2 modules with a new PC based visual system and host computer, sound system, input/output linkage and co-locates these modules in Tank and Mechanized Infantry platoon sets with upgraded After Action Review (AAR) stations. Modern commercial off the shelf equipment (COTS) will be used to eliminate obsolescence problems and allow use of proven and accredited software and synthetic environments from CCTT to provide significantly improved collective training capability.
