14 Deployment Scenarios of LinkEasy Solution for Telco/ISP (Scenario 1) The benefits of this deployment for Telecom Carrier are –The account administrative functions of LE-2000 can be kept within the LAN, thus it will not be affected even if the WAN link is congested or disconnected –For VLAN configuration, deploying LE-2000 in Hotel/Property premises would allow flexible control and ease of management by Service Provider –Our patented QoS feature can intelligently define and prioritize the WAN Link traffic, which is commonly the bottleneck for downstream and upstream access. E.g. if 100 active users connected to a 10Mbps Ethernet WAN Link, each active user at most can use 100kbps for data transmission. 21 Limitation of Current Hotspots Wireless Service Wireless services deployed is often limited to its own subscribers only, so revenue generated from the Hotspots are very limited. 23 Universal Services Provider Biz Model For Service Provider Account users –For existing broadband users in USP, they can use USP accounts to access internet. Users receive the bill from USP by the end of each month => USP get all the revenue generated For Other Retail ISP Account users –The Retail ISP account holders can make use of their existing accounts to access internet in the Hotspots –Since “LinkEasy Manager” collected all internet access traffic details, USP then can charge the Retail ISPs for such roaming services => USP, Retail ISP can share the revenue For Walk-in users –Walk-in users can also enjoy the wireless broadband internet access through LinkEasy available hotspots.
