2 The problem…. Too many times the same mistakes are repeated in the public sector. There is no easy way to share “lessons learned” Discussing FAILURE is risky and not actively encouraged in APS culture Inexperienced staff have a lot to gain from “lessons learned”

3 Our solution A knowledge management website that’s only available to public servants [endorsed by a PMC chaired Department Heads Committee and available through the APSC.gov.au website] Staff can upload their “lessons learned” as video, diagram, animation, text, sound recording
