Review of Process (Activity)  What was the most frustrating experience that you had in completing your assignment?  What was the most encouraging experience that you had in completing your assignment?  Report out (Use post its to write down individually. Then post on chart in team work area. Discuss, group and prioritize. We will use this in district planning)

Regroup of Grade Level Teams  K-2 and 3-5 split into 2 groups and change teams  6-8 and 9-12 split into 2 groups and change teams

Evaluation of Work Activity  “Do the grade level knowledge and skills and activities meet the following criteria? 1) Alignment with standards (NETS) 2) Student engagement 3) Contextual learning and/or meaningful application 4) Adaptability to a variety of settings 5) Appropriate use of technology 6) Appropriate for the grade level of the student  In pairs (old and new), use the rubric to evaluate the work done for two standards. You will need to be able to share your reasoning for your evaluation when you return to your grade level group.

Complete Standards Templates  Return to your grade level groups  Review and complete Technology Standard template for your grade level based on your evaluation rubric.  Template revised as follows:  Changed Enduring Understandings to performance indicators  Enduring Understandings left blank  Converted word document to spreadsheet  Added integrated learning examples

Group Work  Team Facilitator  How will you equally divide the work in your group?  Review resources (don’t reinvent the wheel!!)

New Resources on WIKI  Revised Standards Framework  Evaluation Rubric for Standards  Framework for Scope and Sequence  Evaluation Rubric for Scope & Sequence

Lunch

Scope and Sequence Framework  Template for work developed by combining Jefferson County & Moffat County scope & sequence frameworks  See rationale for Jeffco prioritized benchmarks

Scope of Work for Afternoon  Design an evaluation rubric to use in developing scope and sequence  Examine resources provided (do not reinvent the wheel) for creating a scope and sequence.  Using the scope and sequence template, draft a scope and sequence for your grade level area based on conversations with content area teachers, and the guidelines in the evaluation rubric.  Remember. This work will be a draft for you to bring back to your districts for completion.
