Our 1 st major fundraiser Goodwill Donation Drive Saturday, March 23, 2013 From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bob’s Big Boy parking lot in Norco on Hamner Ave. The successful we are, will determine our future partnership with Goodwill. Let’s do AMAZING WORK!!
Our Goal To fill up 15 blue bins Every bin is worth $50 The more we fill up, the more $$$ we get. Goodwill will provide more trucks if there’s more stuff It takes roughly 40 tall kitchen bags fill up a bin
End of the year plans Norco Key Club banquet Founding members’ t-shirts Help pay for sashes/medals for seniors Have money for next school year and build our funds
Spread the word! Tell everyone! Friends, family, relatives, neighbors Post on your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter Knock on your neighbors houses and let them know about our donation drive. Great excuse to clean out your closets and help your parents clear out the garage and sheds.
Pre-collect!!! Pre-collection is very crucial! Hit up Yard Sales on the weekends and ask if they are willing to donate their stuff for our donation drive on 3/23. No furniture or bulky items.
Day of the Event Need volunteers to greet people who are donating Sign makers and holders on the sidewalk Rotate Army with Hummer and Live DJ As a reward, we get ARMY t-shirts!!! I need your sizes
Sign up to volunteer Sign holders Greeters 3 or all 6 hours shifts Help set up in the mornings. Be there at 7:30 a.m. Help clean up.
