September 4, 2013 Label each sentence as simple, compound, complex, or fragment. You will have a quiz on Thursday, so study both of these slides. 1. FANBOYS = compound sentences (for, and, nor, but, or, yet,so) AAWUBIS= complex sentences (although, after, as, when, while, until, unless, because, before, it, since) Compound sentence Sub+Verb/Predicate, fanboy Sub + Verb/Predicate The character started out snobby, but she changed over the course of the book.
