Shareability is a positive. New products such as green beans, breaded asparagus, pickle chips and onion petals are adding some excitement. Emergence of various dipping sauces to add variety for the consumer. Some whole grain and spicy breadings have been introduced. As cheese, onion rings and jalapenos remain stable vegetables will help drive growth over the next few years.

Creamier flavor, not saltier The process of making mozzarella cheese involves a brining process in order to cool the cheese after cooking. The amount of time our cheese spends in the brine bath, however, is less than our competitor’s leaving our cheese creamier and less salty.

If not processed within 72 hours, mushrooms start to dehydrate, caps and stems pull apart and they turn brown.
