1 The Pensionado (Retiree) applicant must demonstrate a permanent fixed income from a pension or similar retirement income of US$1,000 per month for life. 3 Passport:  Must be valid for a minimum of 6 months duration. The Birth Certificate, The Marriage Certificate, The Letter of Good Conduct from Local Police, Proof of a Pension.  If pension is from private source, i.e. company pension, signature is to be notarized. Upon receipt, these documents are to be sent to Foreign Affairs Canada.
