California’s priorities based on how we are spending public dollars...

If you look at where our tax dollars go, our priorities often don’t line up with our values.

Prisons over Education Harsh and automatic “Three Strikes” sentencing policies have placed 30,000 people behind bars for non- violent offenses such as drug possession and shoplifting.

In 2012, CA had 132,292 people in prison. That’s more than any other state in the history of our country.

This November, we can do the following: Be first state in the nation to end felony sentencing for simple drug possession and low- level petty theft Permanently reduce state incarceration Shift one billion dollars over the next five years alone from state corrections to K-12 programs, mental health, drug treatment.

Our Challenge: Awaken people of faith and new infrequent voters of color.

According to the voting analysis… which counties can deliver change if they lift their prophetic voice and vote?
