CARDIORESPIRATORY ENDURANCE (Cardiorespiratory Fitness) Fitness is "a set of attributes that people have or achieve that relates to the ability to perform physical activity". This description just does not mean how long someone can run for how much weight you can lift. Fitness is much more than listing which activities you do or for how long you do them for. Before you embark on your fitness journey, it is imperative that we know the level of fitness your body is currently at. Knowing the specifics can assist you and your trainer in: Setting realistic fitness goals Identify possible health or injury risks Assess current fitness level Identify appropriate training options Track your progress and maintain your motivation Be Fitastic™ utilizes state of the art body composition analyzers and fitness assessment tools and tests. Fitness tests are recommended and regularly updated by National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), USA. The assessment includes: Body composition Strength and Muscular Endurance Health history and medical screening Flexibility Testing Cardiovascular endurance Note: All fitness tests conducted as per the code prescribed by National Academy of Sports Medicine. For the first time in India, Be Fitastic™ brings to you Osteoblast Training®, founded by Chris Williams MSc, CSCS, PGCE. Osteoblast Training® is a program which recognizes the importance of bone boosting training for all ages and populations. High prevalence of osteoporosis in India A study by The Indian Society for Bone Mineral Research has found that 20% of Indian women over 40 suffer from osteoporosis or brittle bones, while another 65-70% suffer from osteopenia or weak bones Strength and conditioning of bone health must be integrated into our physical exercise regime in order to reduce and prevent the risk of metabolic disorders A common often misleading notion is that bone health training is only for the older post-menopausal populations Osteoblast Training™ can enhance the strength of older bone and reduce the risk of fragility fractures and thus lead to a better quality of life.

Be Fitastic™ brings first time in India speed blast training. Speed Blast Training is an accredited course by the NSCA, NASM, TWCC -ACPT in linear and sports specific speed development. The resistance training systems used is based on the “contrast training” concept which maximizes neurological, metabolic, physiological and mechanical training goals of people involved in athletics, soccer, basketball, tennis, football, rugby etc. In Speedblast training different sprint technique drills are utilized which enhance the drive and recovery of sprinting phase. To enhance stride length and stride frequency Speedblast training safely and effectively implements over-speed and resisted speed training technique.

Our Unique Offerings – Testosterone Optimizing Training (TOT) First time in India Be Fitastic™ introduces Testosterone Optimizing Training. TOT training is a specialized program to optimize testosterone levels naturally in body by training the particular muscle groups in a specific way in order to naturally stimulate testosterone production. What is testosterone? Testosterone is a hormone produced by human body naturally by both men and women. It stimulates development of male secondary sexual characteristics, produced mainly in the testes, but also in the ovaries and adrenal cortex. It’s very important to have healthy level of testosterone in our body as it is responsible for a high muscle-to-fat ratio and a healthy distribution of fat.
