Heb 1 2 … in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, & through whom He made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory & the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in Heaven. NIV
1) God is a God of Salvation- Psalm 3 8 Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people.
Salvation is not just something God does, it is part of His character. Salvation is God’s alone to give and, thankfully, it is God’s nature to give salvation.
Rev 19 1 After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Alleluia! Salvation & glory & honor & power belong to the Lord our God!
To fully appreciate the salvation that God gives us, we have to realize that it goes far beyond just being rescued from hell.
Salvation bestows upon us a relationship with God as my Savior, it restores my Spirit as God becomes my healer, and it fills me with life as God is now my Father.
Psalm 62 1 Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation. 2 He only is my rock & my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.
Isaiah 51 6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment & its inhabitants die like flies.
Isaiah 51 6 But my salvation will last forever, my righteousness will never fail.
Do you know God as a savior… or is your first thought of God as ____________
2) Jesus- God’s salvation- Matt 1 21 And she will bring forth a Son, & you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins."

2) Jesus- God’s salvation- Matt 1 23 "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, & bear a Son, & they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."
Jesus is God’s salvation in the flesh. As God, He is our salvation. As man, He is sacrificed for our salvation.
Acts 4 10 … that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.

Acts 4 12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
