4. Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well-pleasing to Him. 2 Corinthians 5:9 1.My goal in life is to please God 2.I please God by being like Jesus (Matthew 17:5) 3.God knows I’m not perfect, but he expects me to be growing (Philippians 1:6)

5. “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His right- eousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:31-34

6. If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory Colossians 3:1-4

Only one life to offer- Jesus, my Lord and King; Only one tongue to praise Thee, and for thy mercies sing forever; Only one heart’s devotion Savior, O may it be Consecrated alone to Thy matchless glory, Yielded fully to Thee Only one life to offer- Take it dear Lord I pray Nothing from Thee withholding Thy will now I now obey (my Jesus) Thou who hast freely given Thine all in all for me, Claim this life for Thine own, to be used My Savior, ev’ry moment for Thee
