2 Welcome to St. Peter! Our worship repeats the greatest truth we have in our faith in Christ: the promised inheritance in heaven. You have come to be blessed by that message, so we pray that you are refreshed in the news of sins forgiven and heaven won. See you again soon!

6 Prayer before Worship Lord, be present with me through the Word I hear today so that your Spirit may strengthen my faith and increase my desire to live for you until I come to the land you have promised me and all believers in heaven. For Jesus’ sake, I pray. Amen

8 OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, we express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of St. Peter or members of the WELS/ELS. Visitors who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.
