One night an angel came with the exciting news that Mary would give birth to a wonderful baby boy and must name him Jesus. The angel said he would be the son of God. His name will be Jesus.
It all started when an order went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered, so Mary and Joseph had to travel to their home town.
Mary and Joseph had to travel a long journey to get to Bethlehem (their home town.)
It’s too busy! Bethlehem was crowded and Mary and Joseph couldn’t find any where to stay and with Mary pregnant they needed to find somewhere fast. They looked all over Bethlehem for some where to stay but they couldn’t find anywhere.
Mary and Joseph then found an inn keeper that said they could sleep in a stable.
Hours later Mary gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Jesus.
Meanwhile three kings were travelling to the stable where Jesus was.
People from anywhere gathered to see the special baby boy.
The three kings eventually arrived at the stable where jesus was and they brought gifts. The first king brought the gift of myrrh… The second king brought the gift of frankincense… And the last king brought the gift of gold. I bring the gift of myrrh. I bring the gift of frankincense. I bring the gift of gold.
