DREAM SWEET PRINCESS BY K’VOHN

A fairy tale, or wonder tale, is a kind of folktale or fable. In these stories we meet witches and queens, giants and elves, princes, dragons, talking animals, ogres, princesses, and sometimes even fairies. Marvelous and magical things happen to characters in fairy tales. A boy may become a bird. A princess may sleep for a hundred years. A seal may become a girl. Objects too can be enchanted — mirrors talk, pumpkins become carriages, and a lamp may be home to a genie.

Somewhere in time, there will come a day when you will meet the King. On this day, he would summon his son into the chambers and announce that the wedding has been planned.

FROM A DISTANT, ONE OF THE FARMER’S NOTICE DUST CLOUDS OVER THE HORIZON AND SAW THE CARIVAN OF HORSES COMING TOWARDS THE VILLAGE. HE RAN INTO TOWN AND TOLD THE TOWNSPEOPLE, THE KING’S CARAVAN IS APPROACHING.

AMEN, I SAY THIS TO YOU, PRINCESS “NO ONE GOES TO THE RIVER EARLY IN THE MORNING AND BRINGS BACK DIRTY WATER. AS YOU ARE UP THIS MORNING! MAY YOUR LIFE BE CLEAN, CALM AND CLEAR LIKE THE EARLY MORNING WATER. MAY THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY SUPPORT, SUSTAIN AND SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEEDS, TO FULFILL YOUR DREAM.”

DREAM SWEET PRINCESS, THE GATE TO THE CASTLE SLOWLY OPENS FOR THE KING’S CARIVAN AS IT ENTER’S THE COURTYARD. AS THE KING’S SOLDIERS LEAD THE HORSE CARRIAGE’S.

AS HORNS ARE SOUNDED IN THE COURTYARD, AND NOBLES, SERVANTS AND SERFS, ALL LOOKED AS TO GET A GLIMPSE OF THE KING, QUEEN AND THE PRINCE. THE MAIDENS’ RUN TO TELL THE PRINCESS, THE KING & QUEEN IS HERE

HIS SON IS LOVED BY THE PEOPLE. PRINCE HARGEN, WHO WILL BE A VERY STRONG LEADER AND GENEROUS TO ALL THOSE WHO SERVE IN KING EDWARD’S KINGDOM. THE SERFS OF THE LAND ARE EXCITED WHENEVER, “THE KING AND PRINCE HARGEN” ARRIVE IN THE VARIOUS PROVINCE’S THAT HE GOVERNS BECAUSE THE KING REWARDS THEM WITH SILVER COINS.

AS THE MAIDENS PREPARE THE PRINCESS ELEANOR, SHE PONDERS THE THOUGHT OF HER LOVE. HERETO WILL I AGAIN TO SHARE AS HE WILL BE WITH ME, STAY OH SO NEAR, UNTIL THE NIGHT FALLS. HE FELT THAT I HAD FEELINGS.

AS SOON AS EVERYONE HAS DEPARTED FROM THE TABLE, LETS GREET THEM IN THE COURTYARD. THEY HAVE BEEN SUMMONED BY THE KING TO PERFORM THE WEDDING CEREMONY OF HIS SON AND THE PRINCESS

Bless these Rings, O merciful Lord, that those who wear them, that give and receive them, may be ever faithful to one another, remain in your peace, and live and grow old together in your love, under their own vine and fig tree, and seeing their children's children. Amen. And the Bishop shall bless the Ring(s) in the following manner :

Let us pray. O Eternal God, Creator and Preserver of all mankind, Giver of all spiritual grace, the Author of everlasting life; Send thy blessing upon these thy servants, this man and this woman, whom we bless in thy Name; + that, as Prince Hargen and Princess Eleanor lived faithfully together,

The Minister shall add this blessing God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, bless, preserve, and keep you; the Lord mercifully with his favor look upon you; and so fill you with all spiritual benediction and grace, that ye may so live together in this life, that in the world to come ye may have life everlasting. Amen.

Meanwhile, at Wittenberg, Prince Hargen is told by his father King Edward lV, because of his serious illness, that one day he will rule over the kindgom.

Meanwhile, at Wittenberg Castle, Prince Hargen is made King, because of the death of King Edward lV. There is a ceremony for Prince Hargen to take over the reigns.

In the joust the knight used the lance, a weapon specifically designed for mounted combat. At first jousters would simply spur their horses towards one another, weapons ready, each attempting to push the other off his horse. Once on the ground, his battle was as good as lost, for the mounted warrior could run him down, trample him, or spear him with his lance--all while out of reach of the land-bound fighter.

Chivalry's main virtues were piety, honor, valor, noble class, courtesy, chastity, and loyalty. The first orders of chivalry were very similar to the monastic orders of the era.

The lot of the wizard during the period of time known to us as the Dark Ages was grim. Under pressure from the powers of the church and the state (which were as one), wizards were hounded to their deaths, literally. Those who were not caught up in the witch burnings or the infamous Inquisition were forced to flee for their lives; often to their very demise.

The school of Roke was founded by Elehal and Yahan of Roke, and Medra of Havnor, as a center of learning against feuding warlords who used magicians to do harm.
