FROM THE INSIDE OF THE CORNER, MEASURE OUT 36” TO YOUR LEFT AND MAKE A MARK. FROM THE INSIDE OF THE CORNER MEASURE OUT 48” TO YOUR RIGHT AND MAKE A MARK. MEASURE DIAGONALLY ACROSS FROM MARK TO MARK 48” : IF THIS MEASURMENT EQUALS 60”, THEN THIS CORNER IS A TRUE 90 DEGREES. (45 PLUS 45 = 90)

PLEASE NOTE: ON A STANDARD 22-1/2 DEGREE MITER USE THE FOLLOWING TO INSURE THAT THIS IS A TRUE 22-1/2 DEGREE MITER. (You must have the front and back measurements to perform this test.) EXAMPLE: ON A STANDARD KITCHEN TOP MEASUREMENT (D) PLUS 10-3/8” = MEASUREMENT (A). ON A STANDARD KITCHEN TOP YOU ADD 10-3/8” PER CUT TO THE FRONT MEASUREMENT TO GET THE BACK DIMENSION. IF MEASUREMENT (D) IS 40”, THIS MEANS (A) SHOULD BE 50-3/8”, IF IT IS ANYTHING ELSE, IT IS NOT A TRUE 22-1/2 AND WE MUST HAVE A TEMPLATE. = (D) PLUS 10- 3/8” = (E) PLUS 10-3/8” PLUS 10-38” (you add twice because you have 2 cuts)

WALL WALL PLEASE NOTE: FOR COOK-TOP CUT-OUTS WE MUST HAVE A HOLE SIZE OR A TEMPLATE. THERE ARE TOO MANY MANUFACTURES AND MODELS TO GO BY MODEL NUMBERS ALONE. AS WITH A SINK CUT OUT -- WE MUST HAVE THE CENTERLINE MEASUREMENT - ALWAYS TRY TO MEASURE FROM A WALL SIDE OF THE PROPOSED COUNTERTOP.
