Taking care of our children’s well-being and making sure they are alright, even before they are born, helps us to ensure positive outcomes for them later in life.

6 getting it right for every child in Moray The GIRFEC Group in Moray has developed Local Integrated Assessment and Planning (LIAP) Procedures and the LIAP Toolkit, which inform all integrated assessment and planning processes to address the needs of children and young people in Moray. 7 getting it right for every child in Moray LIAP is the core planning pathway for all services and all practitioners who work with children and young people and has been agreed by all Directors and Heads of Service across the statutory, voluntary and private sector. This single child's plan will be used by all services delivering an action plan to meet children's and young people's needs. 10 getting it right for every child in Moray The child and their family should be fully involved in all planning and decision making processes and their views sought at each stage. It is recognised however that there may be exceptional circumstances, particularly in cases where child abuse is suspected, when this is not possible. Introduction The LIAP materials include one single child's plan which is the agreed multi agency assessment and report tool for all multi agency integrated working in Moray. On completion of all 5 modules you should be able to participate confidently and competently in local processes to ensure the wellbeing of Moray’s children and young people.
