BETA E-hand-in: Guidelines for Home assignments 1
BETA 2 Dear Students CBS strives to fulfill the digitalisation strategy of the ministry, which aims to give students the possibility of submitting exam papers electronically. You will not hand in your exam paper in hard copy, but you will submit your exam paper electronically at CBSLearn. The other formal regulations stated in both the course description and study program regulations are not changed.
BETA 3 LOCATION OF THE EXAM ASSIGNMENT The exam assignment is located at CBSLearn, center of the page, when you log in. Here you will find a special exam submission forum, which is equivalent to the exam you are registered for – if you do not have a forum named ‘Learn exam’ with the exam, you are not registered for the exam. If you are registered, you can download the exam assignment, when the exam opens - if the exam paper is based on a uploaded text.
BETA 4 DECLARATION OF AUTHORSHIP All the formal requirements for the exam are unchanged including e.g. number of pages, font size, line spacing and so on. In order to submit the exam paper, you have to check the course description beforehand, so you are aware of the maximum pages your exam paper must fulfill. At submission of the exam paper, you have to write the maximum number of pages, and declare that you are the author and not have cheated by e.g. plagiarism. This way, the declaration of authorship has been incorporated as a part of the submission process. This means that you do not have to fill in the declaration of authorship form for this exam.
BETA 5 PDF FORMAT You HAVE to submit you exam paper in PDF format. You will not be able to submit in any other formats. If you use Word and Excel during the exam, you will have to save you exam paper in PDF format. You can save in PDF format either by printing to a virtual PDF printer (e.g Adobe PDF, PrimoPDF, PDFCreater) or using ‘save as’and choose ‘PDF’. IMPORTANT: If you are not used to save files in PDF format, you should test it at home ahead of the exam. However, you can always contact the IT Support at phone number:
BETA 6 SUBMISSION You submit the exam paper at the submission page, which you can find at learn.cbs.dk. It is only you, the exam secretary and the examiner who have access to you exam paper. When you have submitted your exam paper correctly, you will also get at receipt for your submission, and there will also be sent a receipt to your CBS mail together with a copy of your exam paper after submission. If you are not sure, whether or not your own internet connection is stable, we recommend you to go to CBS in time and submit your exam paper from a CBS computer. It is your own responsibility as a student to make sure that you have a stable internet connection, when the exam assignment is downloaded from CBSLearn and the exam paper is submitted at CBSLearn. It is also your own responsibility as a student that your computer and private internet connection is working at the exam day.
BETA 7 SEVERAL SUBMISSIONS/UPLOADS You can re-submit your exam paper. This can be done as follows: A)deleting the previous submitted version of your exam paper at CBSLearn and then B)submitting your new exam paper at CBSLearn. IMPORTANT: It is only possible to have one exam paper uploaded. You have the possibility to re-submit as many times as you want to before the exam ends.
