How is Module 3 organized?
What are objectives/aims of Module 3? 1) Participants see how to increase creativity 2) Demonstrate ways to channel creativity into increases in efficiencies and profit 3) Stress the importance of thinking in manageable steps to achieve defined goals 4) Become aware of potential benefits of approaching all tasks and challenges creatively quality of work employee satisfaction profit margins
What are the resources provided to trainers? PowerPoint slide set with speaker’s notes Trainer’s Guide with guidance, suggestions, learning objectives, etc. Timing Sheet with tested slide-by-slide duration
What is your role in Module 3? In this module you must convey both theory & practice What research-based theory is How successful practice springs from it How practice provides feedback into research Focus on the individuals and their understanding Facilitate and get the participants’ views Lead the participants in Exercising their creativity Individually defining creativity then sharing with others Have them take the “How creative am I” quiz Do the “Draw a house” exercise (or another) Refining their approach to strategy with the Six Hats Ensure that each participant gives examples of implementation and profitability issues they anticipate. Give feedback.
How to prepare for Module 3? Fully review and get comfortable with all resources – practice, practice, practice. PowerPoint presentations Do you understand each and every slide? Fully review, beforehand, all videos Trainer’s Guides Do you “get” the overall “flow” of the module? Are you clear on the learning objectives… and how you will achieve them? Timing Sheets Do a “dress rehersal” practice run – time yourself and note any discrepencies … and how to handle. PearlTrees Support Materials Focus on your key areas: essential, unclear, etc.
