1 Questions for the workinggroup on programming and governance Florence, 13/09/2013

2 Objective of the discussion This programme is understood to be complementary to national actions on DEVED and to the TUDCN.. Focus is primaraly on natioanl action plans for awairenessraising (obj 1) and advocacy on DWA in development. (obj 2) The seminar will produce a document for futher discussion, including the agreements (framework) as well as the open question.

3 Programming PAYS

4 At country level Narrative can be produced beforehand by a TUDCN workinggroup (coherence with 2015 group). A background document is expected to be produced in The value added of this programme with respect to the existing national action plans should be clarified

5 At country level Country programmes to be developed (Obj 1&2) at the latest by November 2013 to be included in the concept note and by January 2014 for detailed projectdocument – Include baseline on both objectives (baseline need a common approach) – Should we have an agreed (common) list of eligible Content (themes; prioirities; …)(campaigns?) – Year 1 DWA Issue 1 – Year 2 DWA Issue 2 (European Year of Development) – Year 3 DWA Issue 3 Type of activities (see next slide)

6 Eligible costs=type of activities Staff Materials Travel and visits Meetings Consultancies Own contribution ?

7 Governance National level Committee, task force, …? European (common) level – Programming committee (when needed 2 year) – Partners meeting (decision-making; 1 year) – Working groups? (eg monitoring report, common tools, …) – Division of tasks between “hub” and “leads”.
