5. About Us Dear Customers, POLIX is a family company, which was established in 1982. It currently operates as a limited liability partnership. Our headquarters are located in Zukowo, which is 20 km away from Gdansk. We are a modern company operating in line with European standards. Thanks to new technologies, advanced production lines, superior quality of raw materials and our experience in plastics’ processing, we are able to manufacture products of the highest quality. It has been confirmed by our customers from Europe, Canada and USA. POLIX is not only about machines and technology, it is mostly about our people and the skills that have been gained over the years. The whole staff ensures that procedures related to quality management system, which was introduced in 1994 are followed strictly. Currently our company is at the last stage of implementing of integrated quality management system (ISO 9000), environmental management systems (ISO 14000) and work safety procedures (PN 18000). 1/3

6. Constant improvement of our products is possible thanks to our laboratory which follows the market of chemical novelties. Flexible products made of PVC are used in ever increasing number of economy sectors such as: general industry, agriculture, horticulture, processing, construction and furniture industries as well as in households and all types of laboratories and all other places where rubber hoses are being substituted. Our products are characterized by long-life, high flexibility, as well as resistance to low temperatures and UV radiation. They do not include cadmium or lead and are safe for environment and are 100% recyclable.
