Filling in the Periodic Table
1. Label the following: alkali family, alkaline earth family, noble gas family, chalcogen family, halogen family, lanthanide series, actinide series, rare earth elements, inner transition elements, transition metals.
2. Label where the metals are and the nonmetals are. There are no boxes for this one.
3. Put an X in the boxes of the metalloids.
4. Write in the number representing the periods.
5. Write in the new numbering system for the families.
6. Write in the valence or oxidation numbers.
