6 The President Of 1960’s John F. Kennedy his real name is john Fitzgerald ‘’jack’’ Kennedy, commonly known by his initials ‘’jfk’’ he was an American politician who served as the 35 th president of the united states from January 1961until he was assassinated in November His Inaugural Address offered the memorable injunction: "Ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country." As President, he set out to redeem his campaign pledge to get America moving again. His economic programs launched the country on its longest sustained expansion since World War II; before his death, he laid plans for a massive assault on persisting pockets of privation and poverty. Responding to ever more urgent demands, he took vigorous action in the cause of equal rights, calling for new civil rights legislation. His vision of America extended to the quality of the national culture and the central role of the arts in a vital society. He wished America to resume its old mission as the first nation dedicated to the revolution of human rights. in the beginning, people, especially women, were gaga over him. silly, silly women. they talked of voting him into office because he looked handsome. we've voted for presidents for some of the most ridiculous reasons but 'looking handsome'? like that makes any sense.

7 How The People Felt About John F Kennedy As President. in the beginning, people, especially women, were gaga over him. silly, silly women. they talked of voting him into office because he looked handsome. we've voted for presidents for some of the most ridiculous reasons but 'looking handsome'? like that makes any sense. he was an ok president but i firmly believe he is remembered kindly only because of his untimely death. i was too young to vote in that election but i wouldn't have. i didn't like his handlers' approach and felt there was something missing in his political and personal makeup. turned out i was right. i didn't approve his assassination as they shot more than a president. he was a dad too and his kids went without a father. sad. want to truly do away with someone without firing a shot? it is called political assassination and by the looks of it, there was plenty of ammo out there that could've been used. in this way, the person lives but is barred from political office forever.

9 Debi Thomas’s Famous Quote. I tell people I'm too stupid to know what's impossible. I have ridiculously large dreams, and half the time they come true. Debi Thomas
