1 Sexuality – A biblical perspective

2 God’s love and desire for humanity is to seek, find, restore & redeem all that is broken. Sex is a gift from God to be enjoyed. This gift has been given within the context of a lifelong, heterosexual, monogamous relationship (i.e. 1 man, 1 woman for life) Our bodies (as well as our spirits) are precious to God; so what we do with them is important. Being tempted to sin (sexually or otherwise) is not condemned anywhere in scripture. How we deal with those temptations/desires is important. The implications for us as the Church are twofold: To continually repent, acknowledge our forgiveness. To be open, and accountable to each other as we seek to live lives of discipleship, holy and pleasing to God To share the Good News of forgiveness and hope to all. Make disciples, teach them everything and help them walk a life of discipleship holy and pleasing to God.

3 Galatians 3:28 – Unity in Christ Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness & Self-Control Sexual immorality, impurity, debauchery, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissentions, factions, envy, drunkenness, orgies,...
