Unhealthy diet is dangerous for our organism. If we not eat properly our body gets too many or too few vitamins and nutrients. We should not eat junk food because it leads to obesity. Eating only vegetables and fruits can also lead to some dangerous illnesses like anorexia.
Anorexia nervosa Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by refusal to maintain a healthy body weight and an obsessive fear of gaining weight. It is often coupled with a distorted self image. Therefore, a sick person sets a low weight limit. It typically occurs within teenage girls between 14 – 18 years of age.
Distorted perception of body image - patients do not realize how much their body is deteriorated. Dissatisfaction with the body shape - it leads to obsessive thinking about food and the fear of gaining weight, which results in finding and using special diets which increase the risk of eating disorders. The belief that thin silhouette helps in life - many teens believe that a nice body shape helps them get a good job, find a boyfriend, will provide peers’ like, and position in the family. Negative attitude towards puberty - girls suffering from anorexia nervosa avoid contact with other people, especially boys. They deny their own sexuality, which is often accompanied by a sense of uncertainty of their own attractiveness. Fear of "adulthood" - some part of teenage girls suffering from anorexia is afraid of physical and mental maturity. Low self-esteem level – ill people are very solid, with a strong focus on science, they are characterized by a great need for success, but also uncertainty, fear of failure, excessive criticism of themselves. Treatment of anorexia nervosa The most commonly used therapy is the isolation from the toxic environment, often even from their families. It is often recommend to change jobs or schools, and even change friends. The next step is a long-term psychotherapy which is meant to teach proper eating habits. The causes of anorexia are so deeply ingrained in the psyche of a patient that without proper psychological approach it is impossible to cure.
Many girls post messages on the internet forums and write blogs on this topic. They encourage and praise their achievements in losing their weight. They are ready to do everything to weigh as little as possible. Their sign is a red ribbon or bracelet worn on the wrist.

When someone wins the war with the Pro-Ana, his psyche will bear scars for the rest of his lifetime. Then again, it is important to set a limit above which we will not lose any more kilos. Common sense is more important than perfectly shaped body.
