1 GUIDELINES IN PREPARING THE BANKRUPTCY MONTHLY STATISTICS

2 BANKRUPTCY CASES TRACKING CHART BANKRUPTCY CASES HIGH COURT AT __________ FOR THE MONTH OF ___________ 2010 Balance Brought Forward is the sum brought forward from the previous month. Registration is the sum of cases registered for that month. For files increased due to file operation, that sum should be totaled with the cases being registered in that month at the registration row and make a note at the bottom of the table marked (*) the sum of the files that was found due to file operation. Disposal is the sum of cases being dispose of that month. Disposal such as applications or SIC that does not deactivate the file would not be counted for Balance brought forward for the next month is also the balance of active cases from the previous month Formula: A + B –C =D Balance Brought Forward is the sum brought forward from the previous month. 3 MONTHLY DIVISIONAL CODE 29 BALANCE LAST MONTH (A) REGISTRATION (B) DISPOSED (C) BALANCE CARRY FORWARD (D) NEW REINSTATE -MENT TRANSFER FILE OPERATION LAPSE OF TIME NOD/ W/SO/ CPD AORO FILE OPERATION REGISTRATION NEW: this column shall consist of new registration of BN for that particular month. Once a BN is issued, and the court opens a file, it shall be included in the new registration. REINSTATEMENT: any files which has been strike out, then reinstated OR any files which the time limit to served the BN has lapsed, and the court close the file administratively, and later the JC’s application to extend the time of service is extended. TRANSFER: files transferred from other courts. FILE OPERATION : any files found after file operation (which has not been recorded in the statistics).
