12. 12 Which skills are needed when choosing Business Studies? Basic calculations: only plus, minus, times, division Calculators can be used. Able to read and reply to short answer questions in English.

It can be combined with all subjects (except Accounting) Examples: Business + Geography = pilot/captain Business + Home Economics= ITS, hotel management Business + Engineering Technology = ability to serve customers who have problems in the area of engineering technology, ability to work within or manage an organisation providing this service Business + Social Studies = work with EU institutions, police, United Nations, Parliament Business + Art = Create your own artistic product for sale, business of renovation and restoration Business + Graphical Communication: Insurance surveyors interpreting sketches of car accidents, woodworker or draughtsman or architect with knowledge of how to manage your own workshop/office.
