Unwanted aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. This behavior is repeated or has the potential to be repeated over time.
Types of Bullying seen at Big Sky Threats Spreading rumors Attacking physically or verbally Excluding someone from a group on purpose
What steps are taken? Victim is interviewed to find out what has taken place Suspect(s) are interviewed and then it is determined to give a ticket or work it out Parents are notified
Consequences? Montana is one of two states that does not have a specific bullying law. Harassment Disorderly conduct Assault
Privacy in communication law? Communicates with aperson by electronic comunication Person knowingly or purposely with the purpose to terrify, intimidate, threaten, harass, annoy or offend
