19 Person Marker/ AgentExamples In ASL some verbs can be changed into nouns by adding the person/agent marker to the sign ( -er ). It can also convey the inflection ( -ist, -ent, -ist, - or) There are some exceptions to this rule Teach + person marker = Teacher Learn + person marker = Student Cook + person marker = Chef Dance + person marker = Dancer Judge, Doctor, Nurse, Cop GRAMMAR NOTES

20 HOMEWORK Practice ASL at least 60 minutes per day. Make it a habit to fingerspell and sign as much as you can! Buy one Tissue Box Decorate all 4 sides of the Box with things that you have learned/stood out to you/will never forget about 1. ASL 2. Deaf Culture You will have a quiz on Monday! Will cover: ABC’s, 123’s, and the 5 parameters
