Skills sessions Every Monday from 8:00 to 9:30 pm o Starting October 13 th Cory Caouette and friends – Bring it back to fundamentals o Shooting o Passing o Ball handling o General hockey skills
Fitness = Key Yves Paul (Conditioning coach) o Assisted by Adam Chevis (cross fit maniac) o 7 1/2 months progressive training program Phases (3): Team conditioning sessions every second Wed Flexible schedule; take-home training program At your disposal o Monthly status report o Fitness assessments to track progress, 1 st one on Mon Oct 20 th.
Team selection Process starts now o Regular season, Fitness, skill sessions and tryouts will be integral part of selection process On ice tryouts to start late January/early February o Sunday morning scrimmage Committee to make decisions on team o Committee TBD Team to be announced on March 1 st, 2015
Other Final preparation from March 1 st to D day o Tournament in Toronto – March 27 th and 28 th Teams confirmed: Greece, Pakistan, Italy & Portugal o 3 practices each week with focus on systems, Skills and Fitness starting April 1st Tournament in Zug, Switzerland: o Date – June 19 th – 28 th (representative leave) o Approximate cost - $3,000 Website – look for “Worlds 2015” section for updates Sign up now
