Kubica had to miss the whole 2011 season, and although he is expected to fully recover from his injuries, his future in Formula One racing for the long term remained unclear. In November 2011, Kubica confirmed that he would not be ready for the start of the 2012 season
His most important part of charity work were auctions involing his racing helmet, suit and BMW Sauber shirts. Already high priced equipment got even more expensive After his crash in 2011 he became face of blood donating company AVIS.
He is very friendly and has good sense of humor. He is restrained guy that doesn't look for fame, however he inspired a lot of young people, showing that Poles can reach the top too. What I like in him most is that he did not surrender even after few driving accidents and several mistakes.
