El Evento This ninth version of the championship will be held in Medellin in the Pabellon Verde of Plaza Mayor, under ExpoEspeciales 2014 and intends to convene this year about 40 Baristas from around the country, who together with the brands sponsoring the event may be viewed by an average of 20,000 people visit projecting ExpoEspeciales fair 2014. This contest will run in 03 rounds: The round knockout on 2 and 3 October from 09:00 am to 6:00 pm semifinal on Oct. 4 from 09:00 am to 5:00 pm and the final day October 05, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm Barista Champion selected should represent Colombia at the World Barista Championship in Seattle, Washington - USA This event is designed for all participants to strengthen their knowledge of the final link in the coffee production chain; from the tree to the cup and the consumer, where the goal is to deliver an experience memorable and unique, through the perfect preparation of an intense and aromatic cup of coffee.
