21 RECIPE FOR SUCCESS BY Ralph Waldo Emerson To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you lived. This is to have succeeded. We hope you enjoyed our program. We wish each of you a beautiful summer. We hope to see you soon. Good night.

28 THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS It must have been cold there in my shadow, To never have sunlight on my face. You were content to let me shine, that’s your way, You always walked a step behind. So I was the one with all the glory, While you were the one with all the strength. A beautiful face without a name, for so long, A beautiful smile to hide the pain.

29 CHORUS Did you ever know that you’re my hero? And everything I would like to be? I can fly higher than an eagle, ‘Cause you are the wind beneath my wings. It might have appeared to go unnoticed, But I’ve got it all here in my heart. I want you to know I know the truth, Of course I know it. I would be nothing without you. CHORUS (TWICE)

30 Fly… fly… Fly away, you let me fly so high. Oh, fly…fly…So high against the sky, So high I almost touch the sky. Thank you, thank you, thank God for you, The wind beneath my wings.
