RESPONSE 1: Most of my vegan milks are fortified, and I also take a Deva calcium and magnesium supplement. expert : 3 Analysis: Calcium not perceived as obstacle. Shows awareness of easy vegan sources. RESPONSE 2: It sounds gross, but I mix molasses and water to get my iron and calcium. Otherwise I drink this really yummy enriched Chocolate Rice Dream Milk, or add a salad to the menu. none : 3 Analysis: Shows concern for iron in addition to calcium. It is typical for a vegetarian to be concerned with nutritional deficiencies – this often prevents them going vegan. RESPONSE 3: Calcium enriched Orange Juice, beans, Broccolli, and brussell sprouts.
