30 S.NODON'T’SDO'S 1 Use wet dusters to clean electrical equipments Always use dry dusters to clean electrical equipments (with proper PPE) 2 All ceiling fixtures to be cleaned by standing on work stations table Use ladders for cleaning the ceiling fixtures (with proper PPE) 3 Use UPS socket for any machinery usage Always use raw power (RP) socket for usage of machineries 4 Keep Cleaning dusters in pockets Cleaning duster should be carried in a caddy basket. 5 Enter the cabins/conference etc without the permission Always knock the door before entering inside. 6 Garbage should be carried through Employee/ Guest stairs & elevators. All garbage should be carried through service stairs/elevators (with proper PPE) 7 Dry mops should be used on wet/ uneven floors. Dry mops should be used only on dry/ smooth surfaces. (with proper PPE) 8 Store all material near fire exit door Do not store anything in front of fire exit doors & keep the exit free for movement 9 Filled garbage bags should be dragged on floor/ carpet. Use trolley to clear garbage bags, do not drag garbage bags 10 Use scotch brite to scrub stainless steel fixtures & ceramic fixtures Always use nylon scrubber to scrub stainless steel fixtures & ceramic fixtures (with proper PPE)

31 Don’tsDo’s 11 Keep H/K materials & chemicals on work stations while cleaning. H/K materials & chemicals should be kept inside the caddy baskets. (with proper PPE) 12 Keep Pantry utensils untidy. Pantry utensils should be maintained neatly. 13 Safety precautions (PPE) should not be taken while cleaning. Safety measures (PPE) needs to be taken while cleaning. 14 Block entire area while scrubbing the floor. Scrub floor part by part and display signage boards (with proper PPE) 15 Be rude / argue with your co worker / colleague. Always be polite work with your co worker / colleague & in Team 16 Start cleaning from the middle areas or from the ground level. Always start cleaning from top level to bottom level 17 Use rest room wet mop stick for other areas. Have colour codings for wet mop sticks. 18 Keep house keeping materials / equipments in public places. Always place house keeping materials / equipments in hk store after use.
