Relevant to the operations - core to our functioning and significant in dollar terms. Pertinent to all universities. Balanced - array of metrics that depict various aspects of the operation in an objective manner. Measurable - easy access to the data required to calculate the metric at a minimum yearly. Consistent - a clear definition of each metric will allow for uniformity across universities.
