2 Means ‘In the name of Allah the most benevolent and merciful.’ This geometrical pattern is in Arabic script. The script is so flexible that it can be stretched and maneuvered into any form or shape & size, all as per the creative desires of Calligrapher. Bismillah irrehman irraheem

3 Islam preaches monotheism.God is one and the only one.His shape and size are not known to anyone. He is omniscient and omnipotent. We should worship Him and pray to Him to guide us and show us the right path. This plate depicts the relationship between Him, seated on a throne, and His creation standing before him with folded hands in the shape of Alif. Khuda

4 Allah has many names. You can call him ‘Razzaq’ who gives you food, call Him ‘Rehman; who is merciful, call Him ‘Khuda’ as he is known in the Persian world or call him ‘Allah’,the name by which He is addressed in the holy Quran. This plate shows His name written in the sky on a single cloud in both English and Arabic. Allah

5 The first Prophet sent on earth by God the almighty. You pronounce his name and an apple comes rushing to your mind or sometimes while you look at an apple you think of him. This plate replaces letter ‘A’ by an apple ( Adam’s eating forbidden apple is the Biblical version.however, according to the Quranic version he had consumed Wheat.) Adam (AS)

6 The first Prophet sent on earth by God the almighty. He was living in paradise where he ate the forbidden. He was thus sent to earth. It is believed that he descended somewhere in the present day Sri Lanka. Adam (AS)

7 During this Prophet’s time there was a great deluge but his Arc protected almost every single species. The plate gives us an idea of his Arc nearing the shore. Nuh (AS)

8 A rich farmer well settled with his wife and children always thanked God and felt satiated. He lost his land but continued thanking his God for what remained with him. His children died one by one and his flock was swept away by the flood yet he worshipped his God.He believed that every thing that he had was given to him by God and that he has taken it back. He contacted Leprosy-still he prayed. Eventually he succeeded in his tests and got cured by the water of the well near a mosque that still exists in Jordan. Ayub (AS)

9 When a storm threatened to sink the ship he was sailing the ill-omened passenger was thrown overboard.A big fish swallowed him and after three days coughed him up on a sea shore. Yunus (AS)
