1 The UK is an island placed in the north of Europe. It’s formed by England, Wales, Scotland and Nothern Ireland. The capital of The Uk is London.

2 English buses In London, the buses are usually red and they can have two desks. In this case they’re called double-decker buses. Let’s get on a bus and visit London!

3 Tower Bridge This is Tower Bridge. It was built over the River Thames in London in 1894. It is a bascule bridge in London, over the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, which gives it its name. It has become a symbol of London.

4 Tower of London The Tower of London was a fortress, a royal palace and a prison. The Tower of London has also served as a place of execution, torture, an armoury, a treasury, a zoo, the Royal Mint, a public records office, an observatory, and since 1303, the home of the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom.

5 Tower of London This is another view of the tower of London.

6 The Houses of Parliament The Houses of Parliament is the home of the Government of the United Kingdom and it consists of the House of Commons (elected) and the House of Lords (not elected- hereditary and nominated). The Houses of Parliament is located on the banks of the River Thames. Big Ben is also found at the Houses of Parliament.

8 Big Ben Big Ben is the name of the main bell housed within the Clock Tower. The Clock Tower is the largest four-faced, chiming clock in the world and it is situated at the north-eastern end of the Houses of Parliament in Westminster, London.

9 Westminster Abbey Westminster Abbey is the traditional place of coronation and burial site for English monarchs. Westminster Abbey is next to Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

10 Westminster Abbey If you go into the abbey you can see this.

11 Buckingham Palace Buckingham Palace is the Queen's official residence. There are more than 775 rooms. In the State Rooms are some of the Royal Collection's great treasures, including paintings, sculptures, porcelain and furnishings designed specially for the royal family.

12 Guardsmen A guardsman is member of the British National Guard. Many tourists go to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham palace every day.

13 Saint Paul’s Cathedral Since 604 there has always been a Cathedral dedicated to St Paul which overlooks the City of London. The current St Paul’s Cathedral is the fourth to occupy this site. It was built between 1675 and 1710 after its predecessor was destroyed in the Great Fire of London. The interior of St Paul’s includes glittering mosaics and intricate stone carvings

14 Trafalgar Square This is Trafalgar Square. It was named for Lord Nelson's victory at the battle of Trafalgar.

15 London Eye The London Eye is on the South Bank of the river Thames, opposite the Houses of Parliament. The height of the London Eye is 135 metres!

16 London Eye You can see a great view of London since the London eye.

17 Notting Hill In London, there are many popular places where you can go to buy different things. One of them is Notting Hill, a very famous neighbourhood.

18 Harrods It is the most famous Britain store and possibly the most famous store in the world. Many people from all over the world works in Harrods.

19 The British Museum The British Museum is one of the world's greatest museums of human history and culture. Its collections, which number more than 13 million objects, are amongst the largest and most comprehensive in the world and originate from all continents.

20 Here we’ve got a plan of London Today, London has got a population of more than seven million and it is a center of business, finance, politics, culture, arts and style, as well as a busy port city. Greater London stretches over both sides of the Thames River.
