Studies and Research Committee Presentation Board of Directors Meeting November 16, 2013 Chair: Elizabeth Goldsmith-Conley Members: Boomer Crotty, Pamela Godt, Katie Ludes, Karen Walker, Kaitlin Shiaras
Charges ❖ Disseminate analyses and syntheses of research to IRC members ❖ Develop networks within Illinois of researchers with similar interests ❖ Work with teachers, state personnel, researchers, and other relevant parties to identify problems and issues which should be studied ❖ Serve as the “research arm” of the IRC with responsibility for preparing “white papers.”
