7 I Will Knot! Start by measuring the length of the rope … in centimeters Tie one knot in the rope Measure the rope again & record Tie one knot in the rope Measure the rope again & record Predict how long the rope will be with 3 knots

8 I Will Knot! Tie the third knot in the rope, measure, & record Compare measurement to prediction Review data & look for a pattern Create a prediction model for knots and length – Beginnings of algebra and formulas At bottom of your journal page – apply this in your classroom
