Everyone used both the internet and social media on a weekly basis. Facebook was the #1 social media website mentioned. There is a wide variety of reasons folks use the internet. Internet and Social Media in the classroom was least enjoyed by the Baby Boomers. Social Media usage was also ranked the lowest by the Baby Boomers. Internet usage in all groups was highest at 7+ hours a week. Baby Boomers actually decreased in their rating on social media; whereas, Millennial showed a big increase Baby Boomers and Millennial spent more time on the internet then folks in Generation X.
