4. OPERATION 12 o’clock is beat 1, 6 o’clock is beat 3, etc. Different layers trigger different drums/samples Conductive pepperonis are placed around the pizza to place beats Tempo and swing knobs One shot trigger/mute buttons allow for improvisation over the beat

6. TECHNOLOGY Conductive pepperonis complete circuits between ground and microcontroller (teensy 3.1) pins, triggering notes Currently, notes triggered via MIDI. Moving toward local sound file playback via teensy 3.1 audio breakout board Magnets behind foam board hold pepperonis in place Possibility for Bluetooth controllable web app

PLANS FOR FUTURE AND COMMERCIALIZATION Produce my own circuit boards and IC’s and/or find cheaper ones to cut production costs Experiment with wireless communications and/or implement local sound file playback via audio breakout board Continue to build more robust prototype(s) in different styles/ variations, look to partner with relevant partners Groove Cookie, etc.
