At present time, the quality of life in your village is quite poor. Your people live without health care, a formal education, clean drinking water, electricity as well as many other aspects of life that others take for granted. The infant mortality rate and the death rate of your village are very high. Diseases often spread to epidemic proportions. Your villagers are eager to improve the quality of life in the village. You have acquired a small treasury made from donations from your villagers and the national government. The people of your village want to improve the village at any cost.

You are now faced with overpopulation in your rapidly developing village. As your town grows, more woodland is removed to make way for housing. Buildings are now much closer together. Villagers share a small, cramped areas compared to what they are used to. These factors will play an enormous role in this next year, where you will be faced with crisis that will come about as a result of overpopulation.
