3 Unwinding module is designed for unwinding of laminate tape, for its steering, for the cutting of the necessary width and for the easy feeding of material to body-maker.

4 The purpose of the Unscrewing mechanisms is to provide a swift and even unwinding of the foil from the main roll. Like an option the machine is provided with two places for laminate rolls. Its helps prevented when the one finished.

5 The unwinding module has some basic mechanisms:  Unscrewing roll – one or two (like an option)  Table for foil connection – single or double  Regulating mechanism  Cutting mechanism (Block knives)  Dragging mechanism In the rear of the module:  Electromagnetic brake  Tension regulator (Stretcher I)  Speed regulator (Stretcher II) Other mechanisms:  Nozzle  Sensor agglutination

6 The unscrewing roll is the first mechanism for unwinding the foil. When the rolls are two we have a faster process to change the foil from one to second roll. Two rolls One roll

7 The table for foil connection serves for facilitating of the sticking of the laminate tapes. The machines with two rolls, the table is hanged on an axle and has two fixed positions. Each position is purposed for one of the two rolls. Two tables One table

8 The function of tension regulator- Stretcher I (P1) is to provide constant tension on the foil. The optical sensor mounted on the mechanism used to switch on/off electromagnetic brake.

9 The regulating mechanism is designed to lead the edge of the foil incessantly on one and the same spot towards the cutting knives as the size of the tube is strictly defined and in order for a quality welding to be obtained an additional cutting of the foil is needed.

10 Knifes block consists of two parts Push-button bushing with retaining knife and knife-holders. Push-button bushing with retaining knife and knife-holders presents a support construction on which there are attached two knives which may be tuned by the four axles so that a tape with width one millimetre at least to be cut.

11 The dragging mechanism is the latest mechanism in the unscrewing module. It’s function is to drag the foil by two bushes, one of witch is with rubber coating. The other bush is driving by motor in the rear of the module.

12 The Speed regulator – Stretcher II (P 2) is designed to control the speed of foil by Dragging mechanism. The flag with special contour and the Ultrasonic sensor on the rear side allow the foil to move with linear speed in dependent of BODYMAKER’s speed. Front side Rear side Flag Ultrasonic sensor

13 In the rear of the module over the same axle an electrical magnet brake is mounted which guide is implemented by an electricity switch A38/A39, increasing the signal from the optical sensor S06 and the flag to it mounted on the axle of the lever with the stretching roll.

14 The nozzle for leading away of the foil is situated under the knives and sways the cut thin tapes with the help of air under pressure. The starting and the stopping of the air is implemented with the help of electromagnet valve.

15 The sensor agglutination is mounted above the last roll of Unwinding module. His function is to “see” the scotch tape in the place where the laminate foil is connected. This information is necessary to separate bodies with scotch like bad.

16 There are two kind of control panels, in depending of number of rolls. Regulator and manometer for second stretcher Regulator and manometer for first stretcher Switch on/off keys for pneumatic cylinders on the first/second connection table Switch on/off keys for pneumatic cylinders on the first/second unscrewing rolls

18  Step 1: Switch off the key on first unscrewing roll (if you want to work with two rolls do the same with switch key on the second roll)  Step 2: Putt on the roll / rolls (see page 6)  Step 3: Switch on the keys from “Step 1”  Step 4: Check the foil route 12

20 4. Cutting mechanism You must setup the knifes in dependent of corresponding size (A) (see page 10) 5. Dragging mechanism (see page 11) 6. Speed regulator “Stretcher 2” (see page 12)

21 7. Agglutination sensor (see page 15)  Step 6: Check the manometer on the control panel. The value must be between 1-1,5 bar. (see page 15)  Step 7: Check the keys witch switch on/off pneumatic cylinder on the connection table, if they are on – switch off. ( again see page 15)

22 Irregularity CauseWay of removing 1. The dust breaker of the roll with the foil does not work properly. 1.1 Improper tuning of the lobe switching over the masses for sticking. 1.2 A supply 24 V next to the electricity key is missing. 1.3 Defective electronic switch. 1.4 Improper setting of the lobe switching over the masses for sticking The flag of the sensor tunes or the defective sensor is substituted The reason must be discovered and recovered It must be substituted with a new one The lope is tuned to switch over the breaks properly. 2. Tearing of the laminate tape after starting of the machine. 2.1 The cylinder of the foil over the cutting table has been forgotten switched on. 2.2 The dust break does not work correctly The foil connects and the cylinder is manually switched off. 2.2 See p.1 3. The Stretcher II of the foil hit s the previous roll 3.1. Bad tuning or defective sensor Low pressure of the air in the cylinder making a strain over the stretcher The flag of the sensor is corrected or the defective one is changed The pressure in the cylinder must be corrected by its regulator for pressure.

23 Irregularity CauseWay of removing 4. Bad operation of the cutting position laminate positioning mechanism 4.1 Bad setting of the two inductive sensors for most left and most right position. 4.2 Unrepaired guiding plate of the step motor. 4.3 Unrepaired ultrasound sensor or its irregular positioning towards the laminate. 4.4 Mechanical blocking of the system. 4.1 The sensors must be checked and tuned. 4.2 Substitutes with an operating one. 4.3 The sensor must be tuned or substituted The screw of the step motor must be greased The main axis of whirling must be greased. 5. The knives of the mechanism for cutting of the foil on a certain size does not work well. 5.1 Exhausted knifes. 5.2 Loose nuts, fixating the knives position. 5.1 Must be changed. 5.2 Must be tightened. 6. The foil in the dragging out mechanism moves without tightening enough. 6.1 Low pressure of the air in the cylinder straining over the tensioning roll. 6.1 The pressure must be checked and corrected by its regulator for pressure.

24 IrregularityCauseWay of removing 7. The tensioning roll stays in upper position and the motor does not switches on. 7.1 Alarm of the frequency inverter. 7.2 Irregularly set flag for the ultrasound sensor. 7.3 Defective ultrasound sensor. 7.1 Reset of the inverter by pressing of wreck stop button. 7.2 The position of the flag is set towards the sensor till a proper operation of the engine is attained. 7.3 Changes with a new one. 8. The nozzle sucking the scrap operates continuously Low pressure of the air in the cylinder, straining over the tensioning roll Low verge of turning out of the nozzle Turned out protection of inverter and unavailability of pulling mechanism to moves down tensioning roll. 8.1 The pressure is increased due to its pressure regulator. 8.2 The value of parameter Pn58 of the frequency inverter increases. 8.3 Reset of the inverter by pressing of wreck stop button.
